The grand opening party for STFBMX went down on Saturday. The shop was super busy, videos and music were playing, and it was so hot out that I didn’t film too much at the park, so this edit’s pretty short. Anyway, if you didn’t make it out for the grand opening, swing by when you get the chance.

We’ve been getting a lot of people saying they had no idea to get to the Oakland Metro Opera House so I made some PDFs that you can print or download. If you’re getting off of West Oakland Bart, click here for directions. If you’re getting off of 19th St Bart, click here. So, get some rest after the STFBMX Grand Opening and be prepared for another day of good times. We’ve got some spots lined up, free food, free beer (21+), flatland jam and music. See you all there.

[6/10] Greg and I headed out to the shop yesterday to help Samar and Nick out, and I also shot this little bit with Nick about Saturday’s grand opening event. Be sure to come and check out the scene, because it’s gonna be rad.
[6/1] Samar hit me up the other day to let me know that he now has the keys to the shop, and that the grand opening event is still going down on the 12th. However, the address is 728 Main Street in Martinez, and not the location in Pleasant Hill that I’d thought it was at.
[5/24] I keep forgetting to post this up, but Samar Carrillo and Nick Ramirez’s BMX-specific shop in Pleasant Hill Martinez, STFBMX, is set to open on June 12th. In the meantime, check out their website.
