Widmer Wednesday
Greg posted most of the things I was planning on posting in the morning, but that’s okay, because I’m posting this right now.

3rd Annual NorCal Classic
The track’s real muddy after last night, and it’s likely to rain, anyway. I’ll have a firm date on when we’ll be rescheduling this soon.
Due to some political BS, the NorCal Classic is going to held at the Livermore track. Since there won’t be any dirt jumps, there will be a session at Cunningham in San Jose afterwards, until 10:30; if you entered the Classic, admission to Cunningham will be free of charge. Sign-ups are from 11 to 12 on Saturday the 20th, and $10 or ten cans of food will cover your entry for the day. No memberships are required, but a helmet and long sleeves are. The event is all ages, and everyone entered gets a NCC backpack/sackpack thing and a t-shirt from SAYiWON’T. Questions or concerns? Fire off an email to me at dawgincnorcal@aol.com. See you on Saturday!

3rd Annual NorCal Classic
There’s no flier or real details yet, but Nick wanted me to post this up as a save-the-date so that there’s none of this recurring “hey, you scheduled your local jam the same day as my local jam” shit. The date is Saturday, November 20th. There will be racing, there will be dirt jumping, and there will be prizes, so you should be there.

The Streets of San Francisco
August 29th, Avant Garde International Clothing/Cycling Presents: “Street of San Francisco” 18+, 20″ downhill race through SF.
Starting at the top of Twin Peaks and ending at the fabled Clocktower on Embarcadero. Riders will work their way through SF on a designated course that was carefully picked by Maximillan. Not only will riders have to navigate the normal traffic that’s associated with riding a bicycle through SF, but AGI incorporated the famed downhills, and maybe a few uphill surprises, of SF’s streets.
Along the way riders will have to navigate through BMX-related obstacle checkpoints in order to proceed on in the race. There will be five checkpoints at areas along the course, with the first five riders arriving utilizing a flat rail, a wedge setup, rails and ledges, and the Clocktower stairs, and playing a game of BIKE, to determine the cash prize winner. The winner will be the last man standing after the game of BIKE. We also will give the last place rider who finishes all checkpoints and crosses the finish line within fifteen minutes of the fifth place rider a cash prize, as well. Prizes for best trick, burliest rider, and scariest to watch.
Additional info can be found at the AGI website, Facebook, and Twitter.

Hella Track
Quoted from here.
RDG BMX and Boomtown are teaming up to build a modern recreation of Hell Track. With our own nor-cal spice we’re dubbing it “Hella Track.” Complete with dirt jumps hand crafted from locals POW’s, ramps, curved wall ride, dirt jumps to rails, water pit jump, as well as some corny remakes from the original movie.
Hella Track is an old-school themed event with local bike shop race teams racing in a halftime show, live bands and DJs kickin out the jams all day long, RDG BMX BBQ, prizes, raffles, giveaways, local vendors and merchandise, and even a used bicycle swap and sale hosted by Seely’s Cyclery! Bring your oldie but goodie!
Hella Track will take place at Boomtown BMX track in Shasta Lake City on Sunday, April 25th, 2010. Sign-ups start at 8:00 in the morning and racing kicks off at Noon. Bring a parent to sign you up if you’re under 18 please! Helmets are required, and pads are recommended! Registration costs $20 per rider, and you get a Hella Track t-shirt, a Hella Track number plate for your bike for the race, and lunch from the RDG BMX BBQ. There’s no charge for spectators so bring your friends!

NCC2 Results
I should’ve posted these up earlier today, but had an incomplete (and incorrect) list of results of yesterday’s event, which went pretty well in my opinion. Anyway, they’re up now. My video should be up in a couple days.
