The track’s real muddy after last night, and it’s likely to rain, anyway. I’ll have a firm date on when we’ll be rescheduling this soon.
Due to some political BS, the NorCal Classic is going to held at the Livermore track. Since there won’t be any dirt jumps, there will be a session at Cunningham in San Jose afterwards, until 10:30; if you entered the Classic, admission to Cunningham will be free of charge. Sign-ups are from 11 to 12 on Saturday the 20th, and $10 or ten cans of food will cover your entry for the day. No memberships are required, but a helmet and long sleeves are. The event is all ages, and everyone entered gets a NCC backpack/sackpack thing and a t-shirt from SAYiWON’T. Questions or concerns? Fire off an email to me at dawgincnorcal@aol.com. See you on Saturday!
There’s no flier or real details yet, but Nick wanted me to post this up as a save-the-date so that there’s none of this recurring “hey, you scheduled your local jam the same day as my local jam” shit. The date is Saturday, November 20th. There will be racing, there will be dirt jumping, and there will be prizes, so you should be there.
This was done and ready last Wednesday, but due to some technical issues ESPN couldn’t get the video up until today. Also, in case you missed the results and the photos, check them out here and here, respectively.
I should’ve posted these up earlier today, but had an incomplete (and incorrect) list of results of yesterday’s event, which went pretty well in my opinion. Anyway, they’re up now. My video should be up in a couple days.
Rob from Calabazas Cyclery sent me this flyer for the South Bay premiere of Fit’s latest video, the rather ironically titled “Stay Fit.” Click here for directions to the shop, and I hope to see you there after the NorCal Classic.
Save the date, because this is gonna be real good. I’m looking for and need help to get the dirt jumps finished, so send me an email at dawgincnorcal@aol.com if you can in lend a hand. Click here for directions.
