Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Birdwell, who came through with one hell of a wedding. Highlights include: Ceremony on the beach at Pajaro Dunes, Crobar being in attendance, “c’mon, Tony, we could make, like, a kajillion dollars,” Mardesich being Mardesich, and Shea’s incredibly rad suit.

1. Congratulations to Dakota Mattert, who got married on Saturday evening to his longtime fiancée, Amanda Harbin.
2. I finally stepped it up and replaced my old VX1000 with an HD camcorder last week; it hasn’t gotten too much BMX use yet, but got put through its trials filming the aforementioned wedding. I’m still getting used to the differences that nearly 15-years of technology upgrades have made, but I’ve got to say that the footy coming out of it looks damn good.
3. I’ve got my old Beringer bars, Redneck XLT stem, Macneil Pivotal post, and Animal Strip seat up for sale, all in black; send me an email or call me if you’re interested.

[7/2] At the request of Tony Campos and myself, the jam has been rescheduled to 8pm on Sunday, July 11th. Why, you ask? Why, Tony Naked and Beerman? Why would you do such a thing? The reason is simple, and has to do with a name and a word. The name is Cameron Birdwell, and the word is wedding. That’s right, the jam was scheduled improperly. Maybe Colin missed the memo that superman peggrabs trump everything, or perhaps he simply chose to disregard it. We may never know the truth. Now, though, with this change in timing, even those of us who’ll be present at the wedding can now be present at the jam, and a crisis has been averted. Be there.
[7/1] Sadly, the days of Colin Moyer’s ramp’s existence are coming to an end. He’s throwing a jam there on Saturday, July 11th, starting at 8pm, so if you’ve never been there before and you want to check it out, or if you just want to get some final runs in, that’s the time to do it. I’ll post more information as soon as I get it. For directions, click here…
