If you pretend that there’s no fixed-gear riding in this, well, there’s still fixed-gear riding in this.

Warriors of Wood III
I filmed a bit of the street jam, but decided to leave that footage out of this edit. It’ll pop up in a mix edit sooner or later. Anyway, Nick Noble won best trick with truckdriver to no-footer one-hander, and Jason Lopez took first over Diogo Canina and Rob Darden. As far as other standout shit goes, Joel Hulsey did a lot of rad shit, Tom Dugan went stupid high with a ton of style, Van Homan did a perfect no-footed can, Mike Aitken was present, and Mark Blackwell was doing the forbidden trick all damn day.

Hell on Wheels 6
This had a way lower turnout than usual (blame it on the two other jams scheduled on Halloween, Game 4 of the World Series, or something else), but was still a lot of fun. Young Timmy’s shark costume was the fucking shit, as was Gabe even thinking of trying that crazy ass smith-to-nosebonk-to-drop gap at Hubba. Click here if you’re having trouble with the embed.

The “Last” Ramp Rats Competition
I really need to get around to finishing the edit from the actual last Ramp Rats competition, which took place the day after this. Anyway, as seems to be the norm these days, Birdwell comes through with one hell of a banger in this edit. Also, don’t forget that Ramp Rats II is now open at 917 E Piner Rd in Santa Rosa.

Jump Jam Edit
Here’s my edit of last weekend’s Fun Spot jam, which went up on ESPN earlier today. If the embed isn’t working for you (it’s not for me), click here to watch the video.

Fun Spot Jump Jam
Jackson took a lot of photos at the jam last Saturday. There was a real good turnout, with a lot of shredding going down. The crowd voted for the top three by way of a ballot, and Andrew Lang took home first place, with Jason Lopez and Cameron Birdwell in second and third. The riders voted for best trick, with Cam coming out on top for, as he put it, “the best superman seatgrab peggrab I’ve ever done.” I’m working on my edit right now, but Alec Hugo’s on the ball and already finished his, which you can see after the jump.

Fun Spot Jam Photos
I should have some up from B-Rad tomorrow; for the time being though, click the photo to see all of Jackson’s photos over at the Canyon.

FFS
Ronnie Michelini just informed me that Joey Chernoff’s teal 2-Hip Jarrod frame (which was stolen and subsequently recovered back in mid-July), has now been stolen again. So, keep an eye out for it, and get it back if you spot it.
