It took me awhile to get this edit done, but here’s the edit of last month’s Zorg trip to San Diego, by way of Fresno, Perris, Santa Clarita, and Oakhurst. It runs a bit on the long side (even after cutting out all of the b-roll), but when you’ve got a week’s worth of footage from thirteen guys, a long video’s to be expected.

3rd Annual Dave Vanderspek Memorial Ride

We’re going to meet in Golden Gate Park (JFK Dr between 8th Ave and 10th Ave) from 10:30 and 1pm on Sunday, October 17th. Last year seemed a little over scheduled so I’m thinking we do it like the old days and just meet in the park and play it by ear from there. Don’t get there too late thought because I’m sure we’ll take off on a ride sometime after lunch – 2pm or so? Bring lunch or get something around the park.
We’ll be riding spots close by like the bandshell or the stage. If you get there and don’t see us, call me at 415-971-2940.
This is mainly a bike event with the ride and all but the park is closed to traffic on Sunday so you could come with your bikes, skateboards, kids, or whatever, and hangout – just like back in the 80’s when a typical weekend had 50+ bikes and skates.
