Sand by the Ton

I guess that the best way to describe Sand by the Ton would be to call it “a steampunk art show/post-apocalyptic beach party.” Or maybe you’d just call it a rave. Either way, it was fucking awesome; BMX needs to get involved in more crazy shit like this, because, honestly, a BMX demo at a rave is about a thousand times cooler than the X-Games. Speaking of the demo, Squeeks did an over-to-toothpick stall-to-back on a sketchy subrail on a street spine. I don’t really remember anything else in particular, but that move was fucking dope. I really should’ve brought my camera and filmed it, but I’m glad that I didn’t, because getting loose is way easier when you don’t have to worry about the expensive equipment strapped to your back.
