Dylan Sparkman

Bama and I have been working on this edit off and on for the past nine or ten months, and it’s finally done. As you’d expect from him, pretty much everything in here is a line or combination of some sort, with some opp and tech moves thrown in for good measure. I hope you enjoy it!

Mosqueda Summer Pro/Am Edit

Here’s my edit of the jam. I’ve got to say that I feel like Daniel Sandoval got more than a little bit robbed, but, those are the breaks, I guess.

Baygame X SJBMX: East Bay Day

Jackson, Tomy, and Julio took BART across the Bay to meet me out in Castro Valley last week. A chill sesh lasted throughout the day. Here’s some of what went down…

Aaron Day’s Trails Jam

It took awhile for this to go up, but, here it is.

Hella Track

So, here’s my Hella Track edit. A little racing, a little jumping, and a bunch of missed clips because I decided I’d rather drink beers and ride the last straight fakie than film nonstop…

Ore-Gone

I’m going to be gone until Sunday on the Solid trip, so no updates until Monday or Tuesday. My edits of Hella Track and Aaron Day’s jam should be posted on ESPN while I’m out, though, so feel free to click around over there if you want to watch them. In the meantime, check out Jesse Duval’s edit of both events – which is fucking dope – a few posts below this. And, with that, I’m going to leave you for the week with a screengrab from yesterday…

Jonas, just before delivering The People's Elbow to the asphalt.

Ride BMX: Wes Rhoe

Here’s Wes’ new edit, in which he does his thing, which is kind of difficult to put your finger on, but, whatever it is, it’s his thing, and he’s doing it. It’s a two-peggy, technical kind of thing. Sometimes. I guess.

SJBMX: Solid B.I.K.E.

I’ve been meaning to get around to editing this forever, but just haven’t had a chance. Since the next Solid trip is leaving in two weeks, though, I figured it was high time I got around to it. Anyway, this is from about halfway through the Who You Gonna Tell? trip (fitting between Part 1 and Part 2), and we’d driven back to Carefree from Tucson to help the homie Don move, in exchange for getting to stay at his old house for free for a couple days. It dumped rain for most of the day, so, once we were done helping Don move, we spent the rest of the day drinking. Nick Black AKA VD AKA Venereal AKA Vern challenged Tristan Adams to a game of B.I.K.E during a break in the rain, and here’s the results…

Ron Wilkerson Bikecheck

This ended up being a little bit more than just a bikecheck, because Ron talks about the necessity of wearing full-face helmets for vert riding and discusses the new Groovetech system fairly in-depth, but, whatever. Pedalpicker drop-in.

Ramp Rats Spring Comp

There wasn’t a huge turnout for the pro class (and Birdwell and Chad B got wrecked during practice, and didn’t ride in the comp – Birdwell’s crash requiring knee surgery to fix) at the most recent Ramp Rats comp, but here’s my edit. Anyway, the three raddest moves that went down, in my opinion, were Ty’s double peg-to-drop into the box lip, and Nick Noble’s 360 ET-to-crankflip and huge 360 transfer into the miniramp.
