Cisco & Andy

Here's a new video, celebrating my computer being fixed and the likelihood of lots of work coming my way in the near future.

If you don’t like it, you can shove it. But you don’t like it, you love it. Name who I'm quoting and you win a pair of old, worn out, size 10.5 Etnies. Anyway, more updates tomorrow or Tuesday or the next day, once I sort through some things.

I'm back...

...but I won't be able to update for a few days, due to my personal computer not working (I'm at Jared Strate's house right now). So, yeah.

In other news, the air quality here can lick my sack.

New Shit

THIS SATURDAY NIGHT in SAN JOSE at the Caravan. Prepare yourselves for GLOB, they will blow your ear drums out. Focus on the guitarist Scott Stanton. He is NOR CAL and was filming Dave Mirra to Jay Miron before videos were cool. He showcased Nor Cal so lets go support them. If you have never been to a good metal show, then go see GLOB and just keep yelling "SICK" at the top of your lungs so he hears you. Shit should be live and SJRC will be in the house. Hope all of you can come out and support a local boy, SICK SCOTT on lead guitar. He most likely will be wearing a lighted shirt that says GLOB!
Peace,
Squirrel

This was sent to me by Alex O. and since I dont have the ability to post it right here in this body, Ill go ahead relay the link and you guys can watch it from there.

So basically for everyone that might have a pic or two of him in your old files I want it! Im doing a cool little thing and Im looking for a really good headshot/face pic of Kevis to use for this lil thing. Get at ya boy and email me those pics ASAP. Dawgincnorcal@aol.com is the email so send em in and thanks in advance- Late

I live.

Yeah. I'm in the Ely library right now, taking a break from writing a report about my first field area (Bird Creek, Schell Creek Range, NV) that would probably confuse and bore the shit out of ninety percent of you. Here's a few random facts from my trip:

  1. The air is really, really thin when you're over 3000 meters up on a cliff, looking over five mountain ranges.
  2. Deet doesn't do shit. The mosquitoes and gnats out here are fucking insane.
  3. I've collected numerous samples, ranging from totally dorky (a chunk of Pogonip limestone with thin, wavy bedding and a fossil hash of gastropods) to pretty cool (a pinecone from a bristlecone pine at the highest point in my field area - 3195 meters) to way rad (an elk skull).

I'll see you guys in a few weeks, although I don't know what I'll be riding, since Jared informed me that the downtube on my bike (which I'd lent him) was cracked.

Also, since Nick Dawg hasn't been updating the site, I figured I'd inform those of you that don't know why: he's in the hospital from some spleen and head injuries from a fall in the fullpipe at Cunningham. I haven't been able to get ahold of him since the Saturday before last, so I have no idea how he's doing now.

Later.

BMX Rider

While Beerman is away in Austria finishing off his sex change operation nobody has had anything to read. So I thought I would post something. There is a very cool guy in the UK called Tom Simpson who was the editor of a magazine: BMX Rider. He gave me a chance and published a few things that I had written. The magazine ended with the timeless BMX tale: the publisher was in it for the millions and we all know thats Skating money. The magazine shut its doors. Here is one of the pages I had scanned:

I'll be back...

...in six weeks, from a school trip out to the northeastern Nevada desert. I won't have any real email access (once every other week, while I'm doing laundry), and apparently I'll have to climb up a fairly decent sized hill to get any cell reception, so don't expect me to check my email or return your calls while I'm gone. I'll update the site a day or two after I get back from geologizing on July 15th. If there's a contest or something that you desperately need posted, send Nick Valencia an email at dawgincnorcal@aol.com and he'll get it up. If you want to come up and visit, I think that Jared Strate is thinking about stopping by; Jared will be borrowing my bike while I'm gone, since FedEx lost his when he shipped it back from Texas, so talk to him if you're down. Bring beer.

Anyway, here's a video that Alex O. sent me yesterday; it's a teaser for something called Gwadder.

100% pure adrenaline!

As promised, I've put up some of Justin Wendlandt's photos from the Jump Jam; check out the rest at his MySpace:

And here's Manny's new trailer for Brokeless V.2, featuring a clip of elusive SJSU flatlander Baolin Liu:

Okay, lemme ask you a question: who's side did you take in the big David Lee Roth-Van Halen split?

I've got a new video up, simply titled "Twenty-Six," because it's the 26th video I've put up. Expect a 27th either at the very end of this month, right before I leave for Nevada, or on July 15th when I come back. Anyway, this video is, for lack of a better way of putting it, NorCal as fuck. Check it.

Here's an edit of Anthony Renda at the Pleasanton park:

Travis Mortz, Skyler Cummins, and Cody Brown have some new photos up; I'll have some new ones by Matt Saatchi up tomorrow or Sunday, depending on how soon I find out which Savoca twin is which. Justin Wendlandt's jam photos will go up at the same time.

There's going to be Mountain Dew Free Flow comp at Ramp Rats on Sunday, August 17th; also, there's apparently a contest there on Sunday, June 1st, although I have yet to get confirmation on that.
