I didn't make it out to the race this morning, due to being far too hungover from a party at Jared's house last night where I'm fairly positive I acted like an asshole and talked a lot of shit. I make no excuses, I merely state what I think happened. Anyway, I guess that there was a decent turnout and I think Dustin and Mike got first in their respective age/weight brackets. Nick Dawg will probably get all the details up tomorrow.

Speaking of Nick, here's a shot I took of him on the Cunningham vert ramp the other day with Jared's camera. Pegless downside icepick. Burly.

Nick Dawg the jury is out and you are the man. Downside-"no pic" is insane anywhere but on a 12foot+ concrete vert ramp is just wrong. Your words have been inspiring and it shows in pictures like this. Hey thought anyone would like to know that during the BMX broadcast during the Olympics that Nor Cal's, and my favorite, CECIL JOHNS was mentioned on live TV during the telecast for the whole world to hear. Puts to rest all of the critics that were always attacking CJ. His birthday approaches. The context of which his name was mentioned along with Mike King I should say was something like, "if not for Cecil Johns what we are witnessing today here in Beijing would not be possible." Is that the shit or what? And he did it "his way, and on a BOSS." So here is to you Cecil I lift up your name and hope you were smiling when you heard that where ever you are right now.
