Yreka/Oregon Trip Report

First off, I've got to say thanks to Brandon and his family for putting us up; it was a hell of a lot of fun, and their house was super nice, with a great view of Mt. Shasta. Second, I have to thank Dakota for driving the whole way there and back, which couldn't have been too much fun. And, third, I have to thank Brandon for taking us to his local trails in Yreka (although some little bastard MTB kiddies had demolished the third lip just minutes before we arrived) and to the Ashland (way rad!) and Talent (scary big!) parks in Oregon.

So, here's the shorter story: we went up there, then proceeded to eat, drink, play pool, throw darts, and ride for three days, and then we came back. And it was awesome. Rock on. I didn't get enough video for a full web edit, but the clips will be up soon enough.

In more self-serving news, I recently turned 24 and am having a party this Friday night at a couple bars downtown. So, if you're 21 or older and you want to get some drinks, we'll be out all night. We're going to be at Teske's Germania around 8:30, and then walk over to Flying Martini Bros (Firehouse One) at 10. Teske's is located at the corner of 1st and Devine, which is a block south of Julian on 1st; there's free parking across the street at the corner of Market and Devine. FMB is located at San Pedro Square at couple bars north of Tied House, and there's a pay parking lot across the street. So, yeah, come on out.

In more homo news for those of you that don't check Roll Mexican, Jake seems to have a secret admirer: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/mis/623822723.html

Once I get some cash, I'll definitely head up there again to see you, man. That was a ton of fun.

Big Town Hero is the shit!

Also, thanks to 'Scar, Squirrel, Birdwell, and Andy for coming out last night; I talked to Greg, and he was totally stoked on the extra business, even if we were being way loud, haha.
