Fine Lines

Even though this video is from 2003, it’s still amazing!

2-Hip “Rock and Roll”

Paul Somero just got 2-Hip’s 1997 video, “Rock and Roll,” online. Can’t say that I’ve seen this one before, either, but you really can’t go wrong with anything involving Birdwell or Banton.

2-Hip “Degenerates”

Thank Paul Somero for getting this online. It came out in 2000, and I’ve never actually seen it before, so I’m pretty fucking stoked. So, if you can handle 45 minutes of Wilkerson, Birdwell, Edelman, Puker, Parker, and a ton of other dudes getting rad, watch this.

Disobedience (2004) Part 6/6

Here’s the sixth and final segment of “Disobedience,” featuring younger-but-still-badass versions of Andy Maguire and Zac Costa, as well as most of the credits, which got cut off at the end for some reason…

Disobedience (2004) Part 4/6

Here’s the fourth segment of “Disobedience.” The first half is Greg Vermeulen’s part, in which there is much crashing; the second half is a mix section, with riding from Tim Maguire, Joey Garcia, Brandon Bains, and Bobby Roberts amongst others.

Disobedience (2004) Part 1/6

Chad Smith put NorCalBMX’s “Disobedience” DVD out in 2004, and it’s been one of those videos I sit down and watch regularly ever since. I’ll be posting it up in six segments over the next week, and this is the first, containing the intro1, the bails section2, and Chad Bautista’s part.

1Keep an eye open for a clip from the oft-discussed Joey Colombo-Troy McMurray fight from the 2003(?) Meet the Street.
2Probably half this section involves a younger, helmeted incarnation of Andy Maguire throwing himself down handrails.

I actually found this by searching for “butthead bmx” on Youtube. Where the hell is Butthead, anyway? I haven’t seen him in days.
