If you are reading this, then surely you read the home page and saw that Hawaii Taylor, who I do not personally know, got his bike back thanks to Dale (also whom I don’t know). Taylor, I would suggest taking Dale to dinner, or buying him a beer, a spliff, or just “I owe you a favor when you need it” type of deal for this great deed.
For what has been a Backtrail day for me soo far, this news has lifted my spirits, and I would hope anyone else that has had a bike stolen from them. Now Dale you could be a total D-bag and here I am praising you, but I will take the high road on this one and go with the masses. So with that being said, I here by proclaim that today 3/9/10 is Dale Ollison day. Which means jack shit, but if felt good saying that. I will forever uphold your name because I have had 5 bikes stolen in my career and it is the worst fucking thing. Totally sucks, since these things are not cheap. 2 at the same time once even.
Now lets talk about PROSECUTION! If there was a police report open, then the cops could arrest Evan for this and maybe he would see that there are consequences to his actions. I’m just saying lets finish this thing and bring the guilty to justice. Apprehend the suspects so order can be restored. I watch a lot of “COPS” by the way! We as riders have to understand that dudes want our bikes, or they have a friend that does. Locking them up does not even guarantee their safety. I litterally do not let mine out of sight period. If a store will not let you bring your bike in, go somewhere else, or ask them if their store will pay for your bike then once it gets stolen because they would not let you bring it in. That one has not worked for me yet, but if you find a taker, get that in writing. Nonethe less, Taylor, go RIDE and give praise to Dale for keeping your streak alive.
Peace and love.
