Franchise Updates
Just checked the Franchise website and came across this gem in their latest update, along with a bunch of others. Click the picture to see the rest.
Dave Vanderspek Memorial Ride
Here’s a short edit I filmed of the jam, specifically the portion that took place at Golden Gate Park. Most of the footage is of Day Smith and Pete Brandt, with some additional clips of Savoy, Jackson, Ian Dugas, Old School George, and Bill Freeman thrown into the mix. I apologize in advance to those of you that end up hating the music – it’s a flatland video, and that pretty much ruled out everything but electronica.

Dust in the Wind
Just spotted Mike Hernandez’s new edit of Dusty Bottoms up on Country Clubbin’. You might say that there is a plethora of rad moves in this.
594 Apparel Edit
This is an edit that Wes put together for 594 Apparel a couple months back, with riding from himself and Promeo.

The 10 Least Essential Works of Bruce Campbell…
Personally, I prefer Bruce’s two most essential works, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, but the guys over at Topless Robot decided to document the worst of the best. I’ve gotta say that I never would have guessed that a young Bruce Campbell was the guy in the shitty soap opera from the Fargo wood chipper scene. In the meantime, here’s the trailer for Bubba Ho-Tep, which I thought was fucking awesome. I mean, c’mon now… Bruce Campbell as Elvis and Ossie Davis as a black guy who thinks he’s JFK, fighting a mummy in a rest home? Best plot ever, that’s it, it’s over.
Time for some reverse action…
You can always count on Chris Kirby to come up with the raddest edits. This one does not disappoint.
Berkeley Jam
Ivers hit me up this morning (way too early, by the way, but that’s cool) to let me know that there will be a jam tomorrow at the Ashby BART Station in Berkeley. Ramps, food, drum circle, flea market, hippies, and BMX. So check it out!
