I totally forgot to link this up three weeks ago when I first saw it, but the DVD’s now available for purchase via PayPal. Click here to order your copy. In the meantime, here’s the trailer, yet again…

Free Flow Video
The video of the jam is finally up on the Alliance of Action Sports website. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look particularly good on their site, so I’ve thrown it up on Vimeo, and am hoping that they don’t call me out on it.
Jacked!
Kurt Siever called me up earlier to let me know that his and one of his friend’s bikes were stolen today in Santa Cruz. So, keep an eye out for a green T1 Garrett Byrnes and a green Fit Eddie.

Bicycle Film Festival in San Diego
The Bicycle Film Festival is hitting San Diego on September 5th. If you live in or around San Diego, please go and check it out. Marco’s film is playing in Program 3, and my film is playing in Program 4, so check it out!
And today’s winner of the Luckiest Little Boy in the World Award goes to…
…some kid from SLC who not only took his teacher to The Bonezone™, but got paid $1500 to do it. Click here for details.
Union City
Dion Dangzalan sent me a message yesterday, stating that “I spoke with Union City’s former vice mayor (who is a client of mine and now sits on City Council), and we are moving forward with opening up the Union City skatepark to BMX’ers. I’ll keep you guys posted.” Apparently they’re finally open to the idea because they’re losing a lot of money due to the skaters not liking it.

Cunningham Poll
Nick Dawg’s working on getting Cunningham’s rules regarding BMX changed. Help him out by filling out this poll.
BRO Reboot
Sam Pederson from the BMX Riders Organization sent me this earlier today:
The BMX Riders Organization (BRO) is looking for dedicated people around the world to work on BMX advocacy.
Our Mission: BRO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing information and assistance to those seeking public facilities for BMX freestyle.
We want legal, hassle-free places for people to ride. Our main focus is on skate parks, but we also believe that the same approach can be used to get sanctioned dirt jumping facilities and flatland spots. We will tackle these issues with a fresh perspective and will work closely with our experienced skateboarding counterparts to ensure success.
The re-launch will include a new website with lots of information including literature, statistics, news, and schedules of events.
As someone who is involved with BMX, we know you want to help other communities embrace their BMX riders. This is your opportunity to get involved on the ground floor of something big, sustainable, and deeply important. How often do you get the chance to be a founding member of something? Even one hour a week can make all of the world of difference.
Contact us and share with us what you have to offer!
Our email address is recruit@bmxriders.org.
