Filmed this one Thursday afternoon with the new camera out at the new park. Very fitting. I didn’t throw in titles for the riders on this one – they’re Will Grahn, Cory McKerrow, Mike Packer, and Elliott Negron. Since somebody’s bound to bring it up… yes, I totally didn’t pay enough attention focusing in on two of Elliott’s clips. Oops.

As of right now, this video’s been watched 6500 times. Not bad for a little one-day park edit with some young kids that, for the most part, nobody outside of South Bay has even heard of. For the most part, the comments I’ve seen here and elsewhere are positive, and the only people that have actually complained about it are Dave, Fabb, Joey, and a few kids on The Come Up.
Dave: You’re just pissed because you weren’t there. You knew we were there, and you could’ve been there. You could’ve even gotten clips. But you weren’t, because you were so busy repping ESSJ and street riding out at King and McKee, where you ride everyday. Get over it.
Fabb: Twat, honestly… wow. I’ve got you calling a kid out on an ABD. Well, technically, it’s not, since he went the opposite direction, not to mention that a downside whip on a hip isn’t exactly some mindblowing original move. I’ve also got you trying to tell me what to film in future, in addition to you trying to tell me how to film a clip while we were out there. How many BMX videos have you filmed, exactly? One? None? I’ve filmed forty-five. Quit talking. Also, for the record, your lens is called a “Mark II,” not an “Em-Kay II.”

The Come Up: I don’t really care what some anonymous 10-year-olds have to say on music selection, how exciting a video is, and how I chopped off some heads in a test edit. Well, maybe the last bit, considering that Milligan’s been chopping heads for well over a decade, and has been getting paid roughly 69420x what I do to do so.
So, who am I going to really listen to? The three guys I know (two of whom have no right whatsoever to complain) and three anonymous kids that complained? Or all the other people who have seen it, didn’t talk shit, and either liked it or took it for what it was? Take a guess.

In my personal, and ultimately insignificant opinion:
The riding was solid. In one afternoon these kids produced a short yet more than worthy video. That reflects a riding level that some “pros” aren’t at.
-Wallride to whip, on the jersey.
-Manual to Smith to Feeble to Opposite 180.
-Whip Air
-Downside Whip transfer.
…I could continue, but for the sake of brevity I won’t.
There is little/ to no filler, and thats why it has gotten such positive feedback.
The picture quality is amazing, and I’m gla your putting the camera to good use.
I really like the video.
